KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — A Russian missile attack on Ukraine’s power grid penetrated into neighboring countries on Tuesday, hitting NATO member Poland and cutting electricity to much of Moldova.

Polish government spokesman Piotr Mueller, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the seriousness of the case, did not immediately confirm the information. But Mueller said senior officials were holding an emergency meeting because of the “crisis situation”.
