The official website for the anime of Miku and U35say Shinka no Mi ~Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei~ (The fruit of evolution: before I knew it, my life had made it) light novel series has more details for The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Made It Season 2 (Shin Shinka no Mi ~Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei~) sequel anime on Thursday. The site debuted the anime’s second promotional video, which features additional cast members, the opening and ending songs, and the anime’s January 13 premiere.
The newly announced cast includes (Note: Romanization of character name is not official):
Tomokazu Sugita and Miyuki Sawashiro will join the cast as new characters Vitor and Destra, respectively.
Nano will perform the opening song “Evolution”, and Erii Yamazaki will perform the closing song “Adore Me”.
The anime will premiere in Japan TV Tokyo on January 13 at 01:23 JST, and on BS-TV Tokyo on January 16 at 12:30 am. JST The anime will also stream on the dAnime Store and other services in Japan.
The previous director Yoshiaki Okumura is now the chief director, with Shige Fukase (That time I was reincarnated as a slime episode director) as the new director. Iroha Mitsuki and Nobuhide Hayashi are the new character designers, replaced Minami Eda. Hiroyasu Yano, Arisa Okehazamaand Yuki Saito are the new composers, replaced Asuka Ogura, Hideyuki Gushimiyagiand sky_delta. HoriPro is credited for musical assistance. The “animal fantasy” story of The Evolution Fruit: Before I Knew It, My Life Made It! centers on Seiichi Hiiragi. Although he and his entire school are at the bottom of his school’s social pecking order, he is upset when everyone in the school is transported to another world. Finding himself alone, Seiichi is approached by a gorilla, who instead of attacking him, marries him. At the moment Seiichi thinks that “I think a gorilla is good too,” they find the Fruit of Evolution, and when they eat it, their lives are suddenly changed again.
Miku began serializing the story on the “Shōsetsuka ni Narō” (Let’s Become Novelists) website in January 2014, where it is still ongoing. Futabasha‘s Monster Bunko light novel label began publishing the novel in print in September 2014, with illustrations by U35 (Lapis Re: Lights, Aquatop of White Sand character designs).

Sorano has a manga adaptation of the novels up Futabashasay Web Comic Action manga website in September 2017.
The novels inspired a previous television anime series that began in October 2021 and ran for 12 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.
